Vani Murthy   There is always a turning point in everyone’s life. For Vani Murthy, that happened as long ago as in 2007, when an acquaintance told her that if one tonne of paper waste could be collected and given for recycling, about 17 trees would be saved. “Those statistics sunk into me,” says Vani Murthy. Vani is a major sustainable and zero-waste influencer with over a hundred thousand followers on  Instagram . With extensive videos on composting tips, instructions, and other zero-waste hacks such as bio enzymes and zero-waste recipes, Vani Murthy has become a part of several households which have begun to adopt such sustainable practices in their lives.  Poonam Mahajan  Poonam Mahajan   ( born 9 December 1980) is an Indian politician who serves as the  Member of Parliament ,  Lok Sabha  from  Mumbai North Central, constituency ,  Maharashtra . She is a member of the  Bharatiya Janata Party .  She also served as the National President of  Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha  (BJYM), the youth wing of the Bharatiya Janata Party, from December 2016 to September 2020.  Poonam was also the President of the  Basketball Federation of India , the first female to hold this position.  Apart from that she currently serves as Chairman of the Maharashtra State Animal Welfare Board  and is the only Member of Parliament on CM of Maharashtra's War Room.

Dr. Norman Borlaug  A  central figure in the “green revolution”,  Norman Ernest Borlaug  (born March 25, 1914) was born on a farm near Cresco, Iowa, to Henry and Clara Borlaug. For the past twenty-seven years, he has collaborated with Mexican scientists on problems of wheat improvement; for the last ten or so of those years, he has also collaborated with scientists from other parts of the world, especially from India and Pakistan, in adapting the new wheat to new lands and in gaining acceptance for their production. An eclectic, pragmatic, goal-oriented scientist, he accepts and discards methods or results in a constant search for more fruitful and effective ones, while at the same time avoiding the pursuit of what he calls “academic butterflies”. A vigorous man who can perform prodigies of manual labor in the fields, he brings to his work the body and competitive spirit of the trained athlete, which indeed he was in his high school and college days.
